Trying to make a spider-obsessed (and spider-like) Druid.

It was going pretty well at first. Get the Sure Grasp and Vermin Heart feat, get Jungle Domain. Make sure it can climb and be nimble and stuff.

It all went downhill when I realized I couldn't have a spider as a Wildform because it's a vermin, and that's not an animal. I'm now looking at archetypes of Druids that undermine the whole Wildform aspect.

I was originally looking at Nature's Fang, but it has been difficult for me to think of a strategy for it. Also, it gets rid of Wild Empathy, so Vermin Heart is useless.

Now, the Desert archetype allows me to turn into a Vermin at level 10, but it doesn't really make sense for the Desert Druid to have a Jungle Domain, right? Also, I don't care for any of the other skills it gives me, while Nature's Fang has some interesting ones. And I don't go to PS sessions that often, so that one is a loooong ways away.

Are there any archetypes or builds with other classes that you would recommend?

I could just hope the GM doesn't know there is a distinction between animals and vermin, but that would be kind of a dick move.

Edit: OK, I see there is a Vermin Shape spell for level 3 magic. That might help a bit, but can anyone think of anything else?
