How much can I expect to get paid right out of college as a software/data engineer?

So I hear a lot about high salaries in my field, people making easily 100k+, but how soon is that achieved? What's a fair, normal, average starting salary out of UCSD. I have a good sought after major at a great school, but I feel expecting 100K within 3 years as ignorant for some reason. Need someone with experience in this to hopefully answer me, thanks
