Has anyone had problems with their LUX while flashed with Betaflight or Raceflight?

Cleanflight has worked well on all 3 of my boards but it's sloppy and hard to get a decent tune. With betaflight my quad flies 100 times better and it feels locked in without much effort. However, with betaflight I get random motor stuttering before the quad is even armed and little random throttle spikes while flying and things of that sort. Then there's raceflight which I really want to try, but the LUX won't connect to it after I've flashed raceflight to the board.

Does anyone have any suggetions or tips to fix some of these issues?
