This possible with CMD blocks yet?

If possible I'd love to do this. So bassically hard mode BUT every time you die you lose one of your heart containers. So like Zelda gaining another heart container you would lose one every time you die. Until you have one left? Maybe there is a way to earn containers back? Would this be possible with commands. I want to make it a schematic so you can just import it into your world. Thoughts?

I know there is an armour effects that affects how much health you have is there a command that does it yet? All I need is for that command to exist. Is it in the snapshot?
