Still re-watching part 1 and something doesn't seem right...

How does Naruto not even know who Orochimaru is until he and Jiraiya go and get Tsunade.

I get that he was busy with Gaara when that happened, but seriously no one even BOTHERED to let the kid know why the village has gone to shit and your Hokage is dead?
