[Discussion] Nougat on Note 4?

Hey TMO;

Nougat is going to get pushed out to the N3 in other parts of the world. This pretty much proved that it works in the N4. Unfortunately, it seems that there is no interest in pursuing it for us US N4 users. I understand that you need those bi-annual updates to keep the cash coming in, especially with how cheap your plans are now. But what I don't understand is thinking that keeping an update from users just (I assume) to force them to update to what are arguably worse phones. There is no way that I consider the N7 a huge leap from the N4. It can't do half of what the N4 does. I don't care about gaming all the time or multimedia (I've got a sweet TV and htpc for that). I'm also (thankfully) not obsessed with FB and it's ilk. But the phone I have now rocks. I work on this beast and it hasn't failed not made me want to upgrade either.

I sincerely hope you look towards allowing this upgrade. It's not good business practice to force users into something - just look at ATT and VZW. That's one major reason you have so many new users. So I ask: why be willing do the same thing they did?
