First build, advice welcome

Build Help

Hey guys, as it says in the title, I'm planning on building a PC for the first time. I don't know much about building computers, so I took this build almost entirely from the sample builds at r/pcmasterrace. I swapped out the HDD for an SSD because I don't have very many games, and I don't need a whole lot of storage space seeing as the only things I need to store are games and schoolwork. I already have windows 7, a monitor, mouse, keyboard, etc.

I'm not on a set budget, but I'm going to university soon, so I'd like to avoid spending money wherever possible. I want to be able to run games like Civ 6 or Total War on low-medium settings with 50-60 fps. Also in case it is relevant I live in Canada.

The main question I have for you guys is whether or not I need anything that isn't on this list. I'm not going to be overclocking, so I don't think I'll need a separate CPU cooler, but do I need a network adapter, optical drive or extra fans?

TL;DR Do I need anything that isn't on this list, and is anything on this list unnecessary/redundant?
