Help creating a nice synth-pop, electronic, electro-pop playlist?
Hello, I am relatively new to Reddit and I wanted to ask for some help creating a playlist.
The idea that I have came from me just listening to the GTA 4 Vladivostok FM soundtrack and hearing an old 80's Russian song remixed.
The song's name in English is translated to Green Eyed Taxi.

So anyway I have a Russian girlfriend and we took LSD together at the beach this one time. Although she's back in Russia now I want to take advantage of the last few days/weeks we have of summer here in Chicago to go to the beach and dose again.
So I wanted to create a say 4-6 hour playlist around that synth-pop-y sound to listen to during the come up and peak. It doesn't have to be Russian obviously. It can be in any language as long as it sounds good. I obviously have a couple classics already from the 80's as well. Like an example would be.
Tainted Love/Where Did Our Love Go - Soft Cell

I have more modern electronic stuff as well.
Ooh La La - Goldfrapp

I am open to any time period as long as it's relatively similar sounding. It can have lyrics or just be instrumentals only. I just ask that super dark, negative emotional stuff, songs dealing with heavier subjects be avoided in general. The mental state of someone on LSD is very easy to influence and I want to have a good fun trip and not take a turn for the worse. I don't mind any song being recommended just know it probably won't make it onto my playlist if it's terribly dark or super heavy. I know that Soft Cell for example deals with seedier subjects as well. Like porno theaters, transvestites, drugs, and the dirty seedy underbelly of modern urban settings and street stuff. I don't mind that. I don't mind it being slightly dirty and provocative and seedy and have a bit of an edge, as long as the edge is in good fun and the song follows the general neutral/happy/excited feeling.
