Is there a Subreddit where authors go to request help with their open source project?

I'm noticing that a lot of what I find on Github has a tremendous amount of contributors and makes the Github explore area a little bloated from time to time with the same projects.

Does Reddit have a subreddit or somewhere that a creator/author can go to request contributors?

Edit: There seems to be a popular request, but no answer. In the interim, I've created RepositoryRequest. Please use this in the meantime.
