Took NCLEX 2nd time today, need some positive thoughts
Hi all, I graduated in May 2016 from a big name school nursing school with a high NCLEX pass rate. Did well in classes & nursing is my second degree.
I sat for the NCLEX the first time in July. I KNEW I would pass. Everyone else had passed & I know I'm smart enough. I studied my butt off 6 weeks and felt good going into the test.
Did quick results, and got a FAIL. Well, shoot. I had already had accepted a position at my dream job. Luckily, they let me keep the job. Just demoted my status.
Well, took the test today. If you wouldn't believe, I got 265 AGAIN. I had a lot of dosage calc (Like 6?), and didn't feel awesome about any of them - though I did fine on those in practice.
I won't get quick results for another 48 hours, but I'm feeing defeated and need some advice.
Would like personal stories - good and bad, words of encouragement, ANYTHING.
I don't know what to do and feeling like this is the hump I can't get over is extremely discouraging. Any advice?
