Got Twinkle, what next?

so i have got the last cousin Twinkle (lv.577) and all the presents besides Grandfather's Mask. Currently rolling slowly around Stage 1560. I know from the Leaderboards it looks like the max stage is 3000 so i'm basically half way but without more cousins I can't see myself getting further when it takes about a minute to get though one object and eventually I know I won't get through a time challenge even with the help from Magnetic Heart. Each time I use a Comstic Mushroom I get about 50k stars but these don't seem to do much anymore. How do you guys get through Stage 1700 or 2000? Is there more to the game from this point on?
