Need Help with PPJoy Mouse

Hey Friends Ive just purchased a logitech g13 gaming pad, cause i want to use a joystick with a mouse, but notice for certain games like bastion they make you choose one or the other. I found ppjoy mouse because it said it could turn my mouse into a joystick, but every time i turn it on the stick is inputted as in a downward left position(SW) on xbox 360CE and in game. Ive been searching all over and cant find anything on my problem. If anybody knows why this is happening, can give me instruction on how to use ppjoy mouse, or give me an alternate program it would be much aprreciated thanks?
