How to use Prince?

My highest trophies is 1970. I'm back down to like 1670 from trying to use my fav card, the Prince.

He's just countered by everything. It's like every card in the game hard counters him and he can't do anything.

He can't even rush through a minion horde without dying lol. I don't get it.

Every deck has multiple counters for him, so you can barely ever get him to hammer down a lone lane.

I don't know how to use the guy. I would very much appreciate any tips or help of any kind so I can start winning with him.

Every time I try him I drop 200-300 trophies until I take him out and climb back up.

Arrows are always too late unless I fire them preemptively to take out skeleton army or minions etc. Eh.

I'd love some help!!
