Season 2 NBA 2k16 My Career Question

After season 1 I was traded to GSW. For majority of the games at first, Curry and Thompson would always start with me in games. Now I'm about 40 games in or so and Kerr just keeps them on the bench the entire game.... no, literally the entire game. Is there anyway to change the starters in my career? I think its stupid to have Curry and Thompson on my bench game in and game out. The only reason I could see why this is happening is because Curry and Thompson got injured a while back, but I assumed he would start them once they got healthy again. Has anyone else had similar experiences or issues, if so, help please?
