Do you still use an IV checker?

Ever since the official checker came out I've been refraining from using IV checkers for fear of being banned. I miss knowing the exact number though, and figure if they're gonna ban for having used IV checkers it doesn't matter to Niantic that I stopped using them, so I might as well continue to IV check.
