Pep8 Calculator

I am brand new to programming and this is my first project that is due coming up. I have no idea where to start, if anyone is able to assist me with a starting place at the very least it would be greatly appreciated. It appears that most individuals in my class are equally as lost as I am.

The assignment is to write an algorithm that prints the number of days between two dates and it must be in Pep8 assembly language, entirely. Ideally the solution will be able to account for leap years, but right now that is the least of my worries as I just simply want to get something turned in at this point.
