I'm back, and I'm trying to make video gaming a better place!
Sup, guys. I've been gone from #Gamergate for a while. I've spent the entirety of 2016 working on a pre-doctorate portfolio, and I'll be attending the University of British Columbia in the coming semester to get my doctorate. Which is why I haven't been active in the GG scene. Dev and I still have video ideas kicking around, but they've just been on the extreme backburner due to IRL for a while.
One thing I've wanted to do since #Gamergate began, though, was a project where we offer up in-depth analysis of game industry stuff, in hopes of maybe affecting some positive change... or at the very least, getting into some of the brains of potential indies so they think a bit more about some of they games they make, from a design point of view.
Basically, we want to do what #FullMcIntosh decided to do once Anita cucked him to the curb, BUT we want to do it better, we want to do it without a SJW bias, and we want to do it with the intent of improving the industry, not censuring it.
I don't know if this project is something you guys are interested in. I hope it is!
We made a new channel for this project just today, called Gentrifying Gaming. (Considering how richkid hipsters feel about gentrifying minorities out of poor neighbourhoods, oblivious to the fact that it's their presence that's making it happen, I hope we trigger a few SJWs with the name.)
Yes, this is a blatant shill post. But I think a direct counter to Anita and Mcintosh is something gaming really needs. If you're interesting in helping us, please check it out (our first video is on Legion, the next World of Warcraft expansion, and how we're going against the popular opinion on it... it's already garnered a respectable number of downvotes.)
Thanks, guys. It's good to be back!!!
