PSA: Right now is one of the best times of the year to buy used furniture and household items.

An insane number of leases end on September 1st because that's when most students move-in. This means that when they leave one place, their new lease typically also begins on September 1st.

So right now there are thousands of people across the city, students and graduates, moving out and getting desperate to sell their stuff in the next two days.

You can literally drive through Westwood right now and see hundreds of couches, tables, desks all sitting at the curb. A lot are terrible quality, but you can easily spot quality stuff.

Check the free section on Craigslist, or search using "UCLA" "USC" "gone asap" "moving out" "has to go" "need it gone" etc and whatever item you're looking for.

Also I can help with delivery.
