Turn event qualify up?

Was failing at a song for awhile, and a dialogue popped up after the song to turn event qualify score down, and I spammed through it and instead of declining I accepted.

Now the score is too low, and I don't get a chance to practice the song because I can miss like 80% of the notes and it will qualify for the event.

Is there an option to set event qualify higher, and/or turn the dialogue off that gives you the option to turn it down?
