I think the entire series can be split between The Banker episode.
It's a flashback episode and I think it's the turning point in the series between classic and jumping the shark. For the record, The Banker is the last episode where the original Dunder Mifflin exists. Afterward the storylines for Sabre and Robert California start, both of which I find much less funny than everything leading up to it.
I find myself getting to this episode each time and the depressing thoughts about Michael leaving begin. Anyone else see it this way?
