College, with goodness comes with evil paired.

As some of you know college is kinda ridiculous but also helpful. Now we are preoccupied with responsibilities so we don't veer towards pmo. It's also bad because you can't walk anywhere without shamelessness. Even the library once the nerd asylum women look like they are going to a bar after or go work out. I've been having stranger and stranger occurrences like I look at the sidewalk I look up and make eye contact with a girl (on accident also purposeful so I don't look at her body) she literally re adjusted herself from a Distance so that when we cross paths we can make that eye contact walk away. Don't look twice.

Seriously weird things happen. I was sitting waiting for class and a girl sat next to me super smiley and introduced herself. Know your limits set by Allah because this is to keep us pure not to restrict us.

Keep your eyes down practice dhikr, I literally walk around saying astugfirallah. Keep the Quran as a close companion. Allah has better for us in this dunya when he gives us our conjugate pair (spouses) and in heaven we are given more than we can ever imagine for eternity.

Quote from the Holy Quran, An-Noor (24:30)

قُلْ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِمْ وَيَحْفَظُوا فُرُوجَهُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَزْكَىٰ لَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ

Qul lilmumineena yaghuddoo min absarihum wayahfathoo furoojahum thalika azka lahum inna Allaha khabeerun bima yasnaAAoona

Tell the believing men to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what they do.

Another thing that is helpful is that I play the Quran while walking to class. 2 reasons , 1 to keep taqwa of Allah as I'm walking around 2 to remove te need of music. I hardly listen to music as is but listening to Quran is a double positive. Or endless positive.

So let's lower our gaze to keep ourselves pure for Allah ourselves and inshallah our future spouse.
