What happens if i move out of my district?

Hello, im in dep right now and i was wondering what would happen if i was to move out of my district. I have friends in the navy saying i will get my contract terminated, and sources online say they will just transfer me to the closest recruiting district. Termination is the last thing i want, i ship out in feb 2017 but some things at home are not working out and its pricy to stay where i am at currently.
