Question(more like a rant) about level 50 elixir

Okay so.. I used to play about a year ago or so and I thought maybe giving this game another go. I was super interested in the level 50 elixir.. Until I saw the price. So my question is: do you really need to make it 50 dollars? I mean.. We already pay a subscription, the least you could do is introduce this for maybe 20 or even 30 but 50? Come on... This company is looking more like nexon each and every day..
