sorry to say but... hppd really doesn't go away
It doesn't take long to look at the 3 page long "success" story's people post on websites half of them being not even relived symptoms but just found ways of coping, I mean cmon seriously you think this condition goes away you would only find a success fourm a few pages long? . No this doesn't go away and if it went away for you or your friend or someone u know then you can assure yourself they didn't have hppd. Maybe hppd has a cousin/relative form where it can fade THAT I can't exclude but from watching myself 2 months ago freak out over seeing slight halos over lights to having it developed to full blown hppd, then reading for countless hours to search for hope or a cure or a "success story" they just don't exist people with after images from looking at simple texts to random colors in vison to heavy static haven't recovered they just coped, this may bother people but honestly just trust me here it's pointless focusing energy on looking for a cure or success story's to base yours off, instead try to look at things in a different light maybe thank God I'm not blind would be a good start, we all will find different methods to cope but until this condition is more understood we are just gonna have to wait it out.but above all after reading this don't think of this as a doom post where your stuck and fucked for life but rather you can and will adapt to have a full and normal life just with a bit of a different twist on it, just try to look at things from a better point of view you will adapt and get used to it in fact a lot of people adapt so much that their symptoms "fade" to the point where they don't even notice them anymore. The reason I posted this is because I know their are people out their freaking out as I was looking for some signs of it going away , I can't promise your hppd will go away but I can promise you will get better regardless of your current symptoms.
