Potty Training

I have a pretty strong-willed daughter who just turned 2 and a newborn baby. I would like to potty train my daughter before I go back to work in January. We talked about potty training and going pee pee in the potty, we have books for her to read about it, but she does not seem to show any interest in it. She knows when she has to go poo poo because she tells me, and I will ask if she wants to go on the potty and she always says no. Lately she has hated getting her diaper3 changed and fights it, so I gave her the option of trying to use the potty, again she always says no. My question for you guys, how do you know when your child is ready to potty train? I don't want to force it but I would like for her to be trained in the next few months. My next question, how do I even start? To be honest, the whole idea of it makes me feel pretty overwhelmed. Any advice is welcome!
