Color Correcting Help

About me: medium skin, 2Y10 Sephora Color IQ (if that even matters)... So, medium skin with yellow undertone.

I am getting discoloration(darkness) right after laser hair removal which is expected. Each session is about 4-5 weeks apart. During the last week and a half before the next session, Foundation (Estee Laudee Double Wear) and Concealer (Nars Radiant) usually enough. But the weeks after each session, discoloration is bad that those two isn't enough without me packing on product.

I'm thinking about color correcting and based on personal research, orange or apricot are the best colors to try out. Can anyone confirm this? And does anyone have product recommendations? Thanks in advanced and have a good day.
