Zweig keeping future options open for FRL02
With the news that Draig Racing are rumoured to be interested in Thomas Zweig, the 19-year old Austrian says he is talking to other teams but only as a matter of keeping his options open until a final decision is made.
I haven't met with Draig, contrary to what the media have been saying.
I know people around the paddock from my time at Mural Racing, so I'm just keeping my head down and seeing what offers land on the table.
It's not often a driver gets a second chance in any racing series, so the interest from Draig - if true - has flattered me somewhat.
Zweig made 8 starts with Mural Racing last season, finishing as high as 14th in the Bahrain Grand Prix before being replaced two races later by Carl Gonzales which proved to be a master stroke by Mural.
I'm not upset at Mural, they have a business to run, and I was in a bad space mentally.
If another team comes knocking I'm not going to turn them away; I will listen to all offers.
Thomas Zweig, born in Innsbruck, is expect to fetch around €800,000 per race if he gets picked up during the Driver's Market.
