[Question] What to wear to a cocktail party for the AP boutique redesign launch in NY?

hey r/watches,

so being part of HSNY, I got an email inviting me to the redesign launch. What should I wear? I'm a recent college graduate, so I don't want to spend an exorbitant amount of money for a new outfit.

Things I already own: navy suit black loafers, belt a couple of dress shirts

Will it be a faux pas if I wear a non-AP watch to the event?

And will I be meeting up with anyone else from r/watches there? Cheers all, and have a wonderful day!
