[Question]Are 100% shotgun status builds working intentionally?

Are 100% status shotgun builds bugged? Shouldn't the status chance be distributed to every single pellet instead of having each pellet have a chance to proc of 100%. At the moment the only thing that makes me prefer tigris prime over sancti tigris is the insane damage when viral and slash procs happen and if this is a bug it would make Tigris Prime not so effective because of the lack of the corrosive syndy proc + heal and the minuscule damage difference between the two.
