A question about buying overwatch

Hey guys, I finally saved up the money to buy overwatch, and I'm stoked to be joining the community, I have one small question though, I'm eu based and I'd like to buy the us version (Because 40 euros is a bit more expensive than $40) Does this have any impact on which server I get to play on?
