Thinkpad x200t stylus issues

I was hoping you guys could help me out here. So, recently the clip on my stylus for my Thinkpad x200t broke, making it impossible to store in the computer anymore, as it get stuck. I ordered a new stylus on amazon. Unfortunately, this new stylus is much to sensitive, activating as soon as the tip is within an inch of the screen. My old stylus still works fine. I wondering if there was anyway to tone down the sensitivity. I am running Windows 10.
