[ZTD Spoilers] What was C-Team's "rule violation"?

When C-Team SHIFTs to the history in "Anthropic Principle" where they won the dice roll from the "AB Game" history, Sean comes in and begins to attack C-Team as "penalty" for a "rule violation". What was this penalty for? I don't believe they violated any rules, and yet, Sean still comes after them. So what happened here?
