Questions about graduating on MIT

Hello guys, I'm from Brazil and we are having some problems to certify if a person has a degree or not on MIT. So I have a few questions about the graduation process:

1- Is it required any kind of Monography, Final Project, or Graduation Project?

2-If yes, where can I find it?

3-How can I be sure that someone really graduated from MIT?

I apologize the poor english, but I hope you all understood my questions!! Hope you guys can help me!
