[Question] Looking for books to get me back up to speed

Hi all! I'm someone who was obsessed with dinosaurs as a kid, and still continue to be awestruck by dino displays at museums and every bit of dino news I hear. However, my knowledge of paleontology dates back to probably the early 90's.

I would love to find one or two "definitive" books on the current state of paleontology to get me caught up. Can anyone recommend an easily-digestible book that would fill me in on the current thinking in the field? I remember reading a book called "Raptor Red" by Robert Bakker years ago that was just brilliant in terms of presenting cutting edge dino theory in an easily-digestible narrative, so I'd love to read something similar.

Thanks in advance!
