[Spoilers] Aftereffects

So, I attempted a Geno run, fought Sans, never really beat him but I don't really want to anymore. If I was to reset, what would change as opposed to a fresh True Pacifist if I went that route?

Edit: Also, how do I erase the effects if possible?
