First timer having some problems

Hey guys, I recently bought a moto 360 1st gen for $60. I bought it sight unseen but it was a good deal so I figured why not.

But it seems to be quite glitchy... It's used for obviously so I tried to unpair it and do a factory reset. But after I hit the checkmark to do a reset it crashes. And I can't turn it back on with the button. I have to put it on the charger. Then it boots up.

The only thing I read was try to do it on a full charge. Same thing. Tried to make a lock pass code and do it wrong 9 times to prompt a factory reset but it would crash after the 6 try and I would have to put it on the charger.

So that didn't work either... Help?

Also it doesn't seem to accept input from the button when it was dead. After it crashed I would try to hold the button down and nothing ever happened. Even after 25 seconds.

Can I try an update? Or something from my phone? I am new to android wear so I don't know where to start. Any tips are appreciated!
