Any underdogs want to talk?

When I apply next year, I'll be applying with a 3.18/3.06 and a 517 MCAT. I have a couple other things going for me, a narrative as to why i want to go to medical school backed by EC's, but I don't think it's enough. That gpa is seriously killing me. I'm already a year out of school and my parents are nice, but I know they want me out. Let's cheer each other on, talk about your stresses, your small victories, etc. A small suggestion to mods- could we sticky an underdog thread?
