Can we get the netcode tweaked so that I don't get punished for having a low ping?

I get it that you can only do so much about a discrepancy in ping but its ridiculous that people with a higher ping get the advantage over people with lower ping. I feel like im punished for playing on the north american servers every time I'm matchmaked against european or south american players. I might as well start playing on euro servers just so I can have the advantage. ubi pls
