Last Minute Trip Northern CO

I'm planning to make a last minute trip to the RMNP area next week. I've not planned at all.

So tell, me, where is the fishing good right now? I'm planning to camp, but haven't had time to prep a backcountry trip, and this plains state guy doesn't have waders. So Suggestions on good streams or lakes within reasonable hiking distance of a trailhead? Inside RMNP is fine, but I'm open to the national forests/wilderness areas as well.

I'm familiar with the Bear Lake corridor, but I'm curious about sky pond/black lake/mills lake for RMNP.
