With this 670 construction mess, does anyone know of a better way to get across the city?

I live in Independence and Work in KCK near the Turner Diagonal exit. My 30 minute commute into an hour and a half commute. Is there a better way, or am I gonna be leaving an hour and a half early for work until December?
