[TOMT][Song] Does anybody know this 80s-90s popular song?

I think this song could be anywhere from the 70s to the early 2000s, but my guess is 80s-90s. My parents used to play the CD a lot around the year 2004-2007.

I don't know the lyrics, but (in the chorus) the last words end in 'ery', so they're something like scary, very or temporary..etc. It's a male singing, sounds a little like A-ha, but I haven't found this song anywhere in their albums.

THe chorus goes like da-nana na na -ery, da-nana na na -ery, daaa na na na na naaa.

Sorry if this is too vague, it's been bothering me for ages. It's a popular song too.
