Mutant Shitpost

I lost my job last week. I hated it, but it was a source of income. Took my last paycheck and spent it all on black. Oh well. Whatever.

But today I got an email from a job that I was offered. Kind of on the fence about it, seeing as I am still waiting on the background check to come back. The email basically said to be there for orientation in a week. But at the tail end, it stated "This is NOT a confirmation of your background check coming back as clean. You will receive a call if you are not hireable". Stupid thing is, it has been two weeks, I haven't heard shit about it. The background check goes back 7 years, but my felony is 8 years old... thing is I do not know if they count Probation Violation's as new felonies, or if they only count the original conviction.

Anyways, fingers crossed that it works out. One door closes and hopefully another opens. The job is legit though, full time and I'll be making a couple of grand each month, which in my shitty podunk area is more than enough to get by. Plus I will be able to get high and take care of my responsibilities.

What do you do for work? Hustle or do you have an actual legit job?

I honestly hate working, but in this world it is a neccesary evil.
