Kale cooked in bacon fat

Finally made some kale. I cooked up bacon in a cast iron skillet, set the bacon aside. I then cooked the kale in the bacon grease - added some salt and pepper, wilted the kale a bit. Hit it with some fresh grated romano cheese. Damn. It was good - I probably eat more than I needed to (higher in carbs), but not worried about it.
I also found that snacking on bacon while cooking is pretty awesome. Too bad I bought cheaper bacon (big 10 lb box from Sam's - it's ok, but not the best I've had. Too thin).
