[Theory] Need help with a possible test assignment.

Hello,

I am currently studying for a test and have come across an old assignment that I am having a hard time understanding.

The test is in digital electronics but this specific assignment deals with frequency filters. I believe I was absent when they were covered, or I was there and on reddit :)

I am not exactly certain how this type of assignment is done so I took a picture of it and hopefully someone here can help me.
