Parking off campus?

Are there any places where I can park off campus and then walk in? I'm fine if the walk is a little long. Today was my first day here and it took me well over an hour to find a parking spot, and I'd rather not have to leave my house ridiculously early every day just to avoid that, if possible. Thanks
