how safe is biking on page mill road?

I'm going to be moving to the area from the east coast, and I'm looking at various options to sublet. One of them is located on Christopher Lane off of Page Mill Road. I will need to commute to HP and was wondering whether biking from Christopher Lane would be sketchy or not. From a quick google maps view it seems like cars can go quite fast on stretches of page mill road and it looks very awkward to turn from Christopher Lane. It seems like biking from the other direction of Page Mill Road, would be better, e.g from closer to el camino real.

I don't know the area so any feedback is appreciated. Also I do see there is old page mill road, but it appears to be a 1 way?
