OnePlus X broke & considering getting the OnePlus 2. Anyone have stories or experiences to share?

I took an unnecessary risk and messed up the screen on my OnePlus X despite the gorilla glass and the phone case. I was thinking about going with the OnePlus 2 since the price has dropped after the OP3 release it's not much more than the X. I don't need the highest tech flagship smartphone. In fact the X worked just fine for what I need. However it did have some drawbacks. I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with the OP2 they wanted to share. The main drawback of the X was storage (although expandable) and sound volume when on a phone call. It was great when playing music without headphones etc but when it came to voice even all the way up I could barely hear people sometimes. Is this better on the OP2?
