Option to Disable Pilot and/or Chair for VR Immersion

I dislike not being able to disable the pilot's body in the settings somewhere (the chair too, but less so). If I'm not the only one, I just wanted it to be known this would be a desired feature.

My personal reasoning for this is that seeing a body in VR that is not my own does not increase immersion. Also, my chair and body do not remain lined up with their digital analog for long, nor are they ever perfect to begin with. For instance, I am unable to position my HOTAS in a similar location.
