Stoeger Cougar 9mm light attachment?

I just bought my first firearm! I have a Stoeger Cougar 9mm for home self defense and I want to attach a bright LED light to it so if there was an intruder at night I could check my house with my gun and actually be able to see (and blind the intruder), but the Cougar doesn't have a rail to put attachments on it. Is there a good product out there anyone knows of? The only thing I could find was Ramlite and it's an adhesive magnetic plate you stick on the gun. Does anyone know if it's a good product?
