Value of game plans over time?
I've seen a lot of posts on here about people discussing coin making opportunities, what to spend their money on, etc, and I am wondering what people on here think about game plans.
Personally, I am one of those people who is trying to be frugal because anyone I buy now will be obsolete in a few months. However, I have been dumping a lot of money into gold and elite game plans, and I think they will hold their value better than players right now.
With players, we know that they will keep rolling out better and better players making current ones obsolete. With game plans, we have already seen what the elites look like (just countering two good plays), which is something people will want all season.
Furthermore, I think as more and more people get involved in H2H (especially as they climb divisions) and league championships, they will realize expensive game plans are essential, meaning that my counters for all the popular run plays will always be desired.
My only minor concern is the weekly live event. It pumps out bronze collectibles which aren't very usable, but my concern is people will eventually convert bronze->silver->gold-> elite and then next thing we know everyone will be stocked with elite collectibles, but I don't think that will happen for a while.
Not saying everyone should buy invest in 1000 right now, but I'm thinking they may be a good way to improve your team without flushing money in the long run.
